Casement Windows - something for every home

All our casement windows are surveyed and tailor made to replace old windows in your existing property.

Using a combination of top openers, side openers and fixed panes, the range of casement window styles available is immense so you are sure to find a design to suit your home.

Your new windows can include additional top openers to help increase ventilation or add side openers for maximum ventilation and more importantly means of fire escape. It may be that some windows are designed with a greater glass area to enhance your view... either way, you decide.

In addition various decorative glass options will help maintain consistency throughout your property or can often be added to enhance standard window types.

Bow and Bay Windows - adding character

There is no reason to compromise when replacing you existing bay window with uPVC windows from Peter Trotter. Using our unique bay posts, any combination of windows can be assembled to achieve the correct angle.

In addition, bow bays can be replaced in the same way or you may choose to replace an existing flat window with a bow bay to really add character or change the appearance of your home.

Often coloured lead patterns can be included in keeping with existing features or simply add your own personal touch.

Vertical Sliders / Sash Windows - timeless appeal

Peter Trotter's vertical sliding windows have been developed as an authentic replacement for the traditional wooden sash window.

Unlike its predecessor, this modern uPVC equivalent reduces maintenance to the minimum and provides a product of such eye-catching appeal it will grace any property.

A wide variety of decorative options are also available, designed to the finest detail for a perfect finish. An attractive ovolo shaped bead complements the ovolo outer frame and sash profiles. Equal sight lines plus an optional deep bottom rail offers a truly traditional appearance.

Closer inspection reveals all the attention to detail necessary to preserve the character and appearance of the original concept.

Security has been enhanced through the combination of internal glazing and the claw interlock between the two sliding sections. The window locks and sash hooks fitted to both sashes are matched in white, gold or chrome finish.

Ease of operation

One of the most pleasing features is undoubtedly the easy action of the window itself. This is accomplished by the careful selection of correctly tensioned balances. The mechanism also allows you to tilt either sash inwards to enable the outside surface to be cleaned. Permanent secure ventilation can be achieved through an optional slender trickle vent fitted into the head of the outer frame if required.

Tilt and Turn Windows - convenient alternative

There may be occasions where larger openings are required or your window needs to open in rather than out especially for easy clean purposes. Our tilt and turn window does just that and is often used on modern day apartments or similar.

Indeed openings up to 1 metre wide x 2 metres high can be achieved because the cleverly designed hardware system has a number of fixings all around the window. This mechanism can also incorporate a restrictor facility which can limit the window opening where safety is a consideration.

As an added feature, before fully opening the window, the hinge mechanism will hold the sash in at the bottom whilst tilting inwards at the top to give adequate ventilation without the window being fully open.
